Biography
Niks is the only Latvian hockey player in HC Porto who has previously won a gold medal in the Sania hockey league, it happened in the 2012/2013 season. Niks is a fighter and never lets the team down. He has spent most of his career in Latvia, but has also represented the Belarusian hockey league. In the 2013/2014 season he became the champion of Latvia.
