OUR STORY

Porto Hockey Club was started in 2023. It all started with the fight to build an official sized ice rink in the Portugal so existing ice hockey players living in Portugal could play and train. Our roster includes a variety of international players that come from all over Europe, and have now settled in Portugal. We’ve managed to build a team mainly playing on inline skates until our rink is built. The lack of ice did not stop us from playing in tournaments outside of Portugal. we’re a untied team, with players relationships that last over 20 years. Our motto is to empower and unite players of all levels and backgrounds. We prioritise diversity, inclusivity, personal growth, and we strive to create a community that supports each other both on and off the ice. Our focus on leadership development encourages our athletes to become role models in their communities. Through our commitment to excellence and our passion for the game, Porto offers a unique and transformative experience that sets us apart from the rest.
